I always embed a piece of myself in every artwork I create. This piece captures the moment before a confrontation between a giant sea monster and the person facing it. I want to convey that, no matter how small we may feel in the face of our greatest fears, we should never give up. We must confront our fears head-on, regardless of how impossible it seems, we are stronger than them.

The Last Artist
I have always felt attracted to post-apocalyptic worlds, abandoned places and essentially places where nature has been reborn among the rubble. The idea of designing or representing this type of scenarios fascinates me so for this perspective project I decided to create the concept of a person who survives in this world and that the only thing left is his art.

Being totally honest here I needed to do a creature and I had no idea what i was doing; mixing parts of different creatures seemed crazy (and it is) however i am so pleased with the result and after making it i realize how much i enjoyed making weird looking original creatures. his name is kei :0

Hybrid Creature
Nowhere to go
The project of the creatures was gradual, first a creature no background, then one with background and finally a giant one. this was the second stage when I was experimenting with rocks and water however since I was trying textures I never tried before it does not look as cohesive as I would like to. I consider this is a great illustration and turned out better than expected, most important it helped me understand how to draw water in the for the big creature.

Last Words
This is my final work for drawing I class. i had total creative freedom and I wanted to experiment a lot with the human figure and materials like clothes and feathers. I also was atracted to angel sculptures. I wanted to represent the darkness and light, yin and yang, but twisting the roles.

Bad Feeling
This is an assigment I made for my 2D design class called bad feelings. This requires to represent feelings by using the Gestalt principles and of course being not objective. This was challeging however I understand now how important this excercise was and it helped me to improve the composition of my illustartions. This project won First place in the cathegory of 2D Design in the Scc Exhibition spring 2024.

2D Design Recap
Here is a recopilatory of projects I did in my 2D design class. This was very restrictive, eveyrthing needed to be non objective and black and white. at the begining I did not like it because it was difficult to change your mindset from replicating something to basic figures and shapes but towards the end I understood the importance of these principles and how it impacts in my art nowadays. I am very thankful for this class.
